easy to traverse.

submenu or document). But that explanation is very brief and may be
misleading.
- Menu items may refer to menus or documents on other servers,
but not necessarily to the root of those servers' hierarchy.
- Gopher servers return a MIME type for every menu item,
so one can avoid looking at documents of unwanted types.

All servers registered with the "Mother Gopher" in Minnesota
are searched, and also the servers they have links to.
Only menu items can be found, not documents.
