Distinguishing upper and lower case is useful to:
- Find words at the beginning of a sentence.
- Find names that also exist as plain words.
- Find single uppercase letters like C and X, which would certainly
be ignored in lowercase.
Ignoring the difference between upper and lower case helps:
- Find words regardless where in a sentence they appear.
- Find words also in titles where they are in all caps.
